shift pattern is the same for the driver, the 3-4 lever on the tranny
was flipped to provide the fake-out.

yes, the OD unit has a 5.125" dia. input bearing retainer (IBR).
the IBR on factory B/RB bells is 4.35" or 4.80". I don't think a
4.80" IBR can bolt to an OD because the four bolt pattern was larger
on the OD (I think). so I thikn you nee dot machine a 4.80" out
to 5.125"

issue/problem: the F-body ODs are A-body length. an truck/van A-body
with go into a B-body much easier. with the A-body, you'll need
to fab a cross member and the shift mount will be rearward compared
to the B-body 4psd location (hence the factory 64-65 B-body hump
won't quite work....)
