Jim,
I'm not sure what type of glue you're trying to remove, but I've had 
pretty good luck with 3M General Purpose Adhesive Cleaner #08987.  The 
can says that the paint should be cured and the surface cool before 
using & try in an inconspicuous spot if in doubt.

Please address private mail -- mail of interest to only one person -- directly to that person.
