Bill, If your 65 kick panel area, is anything like my 62's,
you won't have much room, if any, for speakers there.

Ollie,
I'll DEFINITELY take the kick panels...I've been looking for a set to
put speakers in for a while now. Is the dash / heaterbox, etc. the
same as a 65 Coronet? Would my gauge cluster fit right in? I'd sure
like to rig up AC in my Convertible!!!
And one last thing...LOCATION POLICE!!! Where are you????

I closed the deal on my "new" 65 Satellite. It is a pretty complete

Bill makes a good point. There's no need for the reverse pattern.
This
is the way to do it with a column or floor shifter for safety reasons.
But with our push button arrangement you just need the manual shift
function and the improved shifts you get with the kit. And there are
kits out there that don't reverse the pattern.
