I remember them being orange. We used to be able to buy that colour. it was 
not too far different from the block paint colur. Some mopars in themid 
seventes used a wire colour not much different. Where one would get it o I 
dont know . taylor orange is too orange and desnt look right. if you use 
short plugs you will have better success keepingthem in good shape.
