If I had snow or salt I wouldn't go out either with a classic.

I'm with you Bill. I don't drive my old Mopars when it's snowing or the
roads are salted and I try to avoid the rain but once the weather breaks I'm
out almost every day in one of them. The weather last summer wasn't that
great so the the top was up and down numerous times but the summer before
the top went down on my 63 Fury convert on the 4th of July and never went
back up until the end of September. Of course my wife's not too happy that
her new car sits out in the snow while my old Mopars are in the garage but
at least her new one has a remote start. Before I bought the Fury I had an
original 66 Hemi Charger and I'm proud that I put over 15,000 miles on it in
the 5 years that I owned it. That included a 2,000 mile round trip to Osage
Beach, MO. for the 35th Fastback Reunion. I had a bumper sticker on the rear
that's become my motto. It read "IF YOU SEE THIS CAR ON A TRAILER PLEASE
CALL 911, IT'S BEING STOLEN" Right now I also have a 78 Dodge D-150 short
bed customized show truck and not only doesn't it go on a trailer but it
pulls my 77 vintage Scotty camping trailer to out of town shows. I figure if
I want a car just to look at and can't drive I'll by a model. They're a lot
cheaper and take up a lot less room. LOL
