Check the radiator, oil in the coolant = bad. Check the dipstick,
water
in the oil = bad. That's the other side of this hobby, some bad. But
you'll find the problem, deal with and get back on track.

TTI sends bolts - at least that's what they sent me - I bought
one of
the first header sets for the poly when they came out a few
years ago.
I used the drain plug on the passenger side of the block to
drain the
rest of the block.
Should I be using studs? Would that make getting them on and off
easier? There are 3 that are pretty much impossible ...

just trying to be optimistic here,
I'm thinking maybe the header bolt or stud was leaking a
little coolant and mixing with dirt and oil on the outside of the
engine?
in which case, just put some thread sealer on it and reinstall.
all the lower exhaust bolts are actually studs (in stock form)
that
screw=
down into the
water jackets. not sure what type of fasteners TTI gives you
for the
lowe=
r ones?
plus you'll still have some coolant in the block so have a pan
handy.
