EMBLEM REMOVAL

Need some instruction on removal of the dodge emblem on the sail panel 
(i believe that is its name) on my hardtop. Are there barrel type 
fasteners on the studs? The body man wants to mess with the headliner to 
remove them. Can emblem removal be done from the outside?
