I called these folks today . They have changed their name as they are also
doing paint for other makes of cars too. The lady I talked to was very
knowledgeable. . She asked what I was painting, year and make of car, and
color of interior. She said it was a suede paint, and would take a pint of
paint mixed with a pint of my laquere thinner, and told me the paint gun tip
to use etc. . Part must be clean and no primer needed if the base paint was
good. ----exact factory formula. HOWEVER, that pint of paint would cost me
$175 and take about 3 weeks turn around time.
Pretty stiff for my pocket . I have the 1964 paint chip chart from DuPont
that shows the correct color- I wonder if a paint store could decipher it
and make it suede look?? Any more suggestions? Thanks

I am ready to dis-assemble the dash ( which is out)
of my 64 Dodge 440 body. Those are painted with the body
color on the face and a sort of flat paint that seems to
have a little texture to it, on the top where a pad
might be on a Polara. Mine is the red front
with maroon top. Can someone tell me how to
achieve that flat textured maroon top finish? That color is
also used on the window garnish moldings. Thanks for
any help..................MO
