Hi all, cleaning out the shop and going through a pile of
torqueflites, trying to decide which to sell, which to keep.....
anyhoo, QUESTION 1: I have a small block 727 from a dodge van. Is
this the same case as a passenger car case? It looks the same with a
long tailshaft, etc>??? If its the same as a car case I will keep it.
NEXT QUESTION- In addition to the van tranny I also have a 727 from a
73 dodge 4x4, ( short shaft) but somebody told me both vans and 4x4
trannies had special heavy duty guts in them, that would be good to
have around if I wanted to build a full on small block 727. ANY TRUTH
TO THIS, or urban legend?
I don't want to get rid of them if they could be useful down the road
