Personally I don't think your missing anything not having MDS, my 6.1 SRT
Magnum gets better gas mileage than my 5.7 300 with MDS did.  At best we got
17.5 MPG from the 300 and the dealer said that was good.  I am getting 19.5
from my SRT.  I know no comparison to your truck, just some info!

Sorry for the off topic question but Im thinking someone here might well
have the info.
 
2010 2500 dodge ram.  5.7 Hemi.
They dont offer the multidisplacement option for better fuel economy, does
any here know what fuel mileage one should expect out of this truck?
crew cabbed, 4x4.
 
any info would be great.
