Yeah , no, I too have heard that the  8.75 rear became available under
 the a- bodies in late 65. It was so ironic that my old 65 formuala S
car had everything , but was stuck with that crappy 7.25 rear, even
though it was posi. It was an early 65 car. Why did I ever sell that
car?
