Hot Rod Magazine has did a very detailed article on early hemis in the June
and July issues. Any
questions about these old elephants are answered here. The amount of
available parts is surprising.

Subject: early hemi question
a 331 Hemi popped up[ here for sale for 500 bucks " needs rebuilt".
My questions: Are these expensive motors to rebuild. and how many
after market components are available for them ( manifolds, blowers,
headers, tunnel rams, etc. I know forward look would be the place to
ask but I don't want to join up for just one question. Hope some of u
guys had experience with these. Also what about tranny bolt-up?
