I feel your pain, had same problem . Jim Kramer at Kramer auto resolved my issue. Maybe call him. Once you get the right cable length, you may have to alter the brackets where the cable connects to the carb though. Cure one thing and create another hurdle seems to be the drill in our kluge. Ruth
