Everything has worked out so that I will be here for the Geezer Drags.  Since I live 5 miles from the track it would be a shame to miss it.  Haven't had the Sport Fury on the road since late May.  Either been too busy or too hot.  Maybe this  weekend.

 The Summer is going by so fast, It will be time for the Local Geezer Drags Aug.24-25 before  we know it.  This has been one of our favorite activities. It is a nice 1/8 mile track located just a few miles South of Omaha, just off  I29  Altho it is not advertised nationaly, there are some very quick and interesting cars - Hot Rods that come from a distance.  Gassers and front engine rails that in some cases- not  allowed to make a full pass. They can sure make a lot of tire smoke and noise tho!

 We have not got together yet to make plans, but I would guess we will gather at Rich K's pit and have lawn chairs and sun shades. Probably have a Saturday night get together with food  at a local eatery and maybe some libations?

     George is retired now and so maybe he can be there this year. In addition to the rest of the crew, I believe Ollie and Jim Auxier are planning to be there and I have a couple of 62-65 Mopar enthusiasts that I will invite.

   Soooo, it is early enough for anyone interested to make plans to be there with us . BTW the world famous Speedway Motors  in Lincoln Ne. is in the area and is a MUST see for car enthusiast's . It is a three story museum and I don't think anyone can see everything there in one day. 

 Get yer motor run'in! ...............MO
