You Must have had a 6cyl. In yours ?
On 65-66 furies whole front frame is bolted. So you can replace
compelete front frame and that is what I did back in
1995.

Hi
I was understanding that in my 1965 fury the k-frame was welded in not
bolted. Hence could not be changed. Making it a one year frame design.
My car came with a 318 y-block. And I purchased motor mounts to install
440
in it. Only thing was I had to make sure the block had boss's on
front of
block to install drivers motor mount. I have since purchased a
couple 440
blocks with these boss's on them for spares.
Any info I
can provide will be willing to help.
I have had my car for over 17 yrs.
And have had 4 different engines in it.
318 , 383 , 440.
Now have
440 with max-wedge heads and intake.

Commando color 1965 Fury?
I'm changing the Subject line to better
match the content.
If it is like the B Body cars, then the engine
will sit slightly closer to
the firewall ( 1 5/8" if I recall right)
with a 1966 verses a 1965 K member.
Thanks,
