'65 Newport, I thought "man that looks like a deal" until the disclosure that the pic wasn't of the actual car LOL
'64 Polara "rare", amazing how ignorant the guy is of Mopar cars and parts, "wide block" 318, "touch button" trans, "posi" rear, etc etc
'64 Dodge for $9000 and "I'm not inclined to take less", I don't think I've ever heard it phrased quite that way
'64 dodge Mint for $40,950 seemed outlandish but there is the autograph of an unnamed famous racer inside the trunk. The guy is really serious about not accepting calls from blocked numbers as he prefixes his phone number with *82, the code to unblock your number just in case you blocked it.
'64 Farm Fresh 880 what the heck, a decent deal looks like to me
'64 D100 that "$200 of O'Reilly's "premixed" paint didn't cover" so he didn't post a pic, that paint job must really suck
And finally the bonus way overpriced '67 "Polar" station wagon, maybe that color is "polar white" he meant. I could be out of line with my criticism given the "high performance" engine.
On a related note, a buddy asked me to come with him this weekend to look over a '59 Dodge Custom Royale he found in a barn...unfortunately a collapsed barn. I don't know much about that model but in the pic I can see it is a 2 door hardtop stuck in under those beams. What does the daughter of the late owner want for this car that has sat in that barn since 1970 (yes 43 years since being on the road)? Well now that someone is actually interested, she is "going to research it". I'm sure she will find one that got bid to $40,000 or something at a TV auction, so of course her's must be at least worth $20,000. I told him that IF he did decide to try to go for it, to over $500 and explain that it is a car that will need several thousand dollars of investment just to be able to drive around his driveway, and otherwise wish her good luck. He's not at all familiar with all the ins and outs of Forward Look era Mopars such as the cast iron tranny and extended crank issue, etc. On the other hand he has a giant farm style pole barn on his property, I think it is 60X100, and mostly concrete floor, so he can stick it in there to look at once in a while.
