Well Robert, I earned the $650 purchase price for my first Mopar washing dishes at Elmer's Colonial Pancake and Steak House over on the other side of the hills from you in Bend, OR in 1976. The car was a big '65 Sport Fury, 383 (swapped to a warmed up 440), 4-speed. I was 16 and the skinniest kid in town. Quite a contrast! Now, time has passed and I'm not as skinny, and my cars aren't as big (or powerful).

An interesting side note: my sisters got their first Mopar bought for
them by Dad, a beautiful green 59 Plymouth Fury, man i loved that car,
maybe thats when the mopar bug hit. I had to buy my own , go figure.
