Using my emergency brake for "PARK"

My automatic transmission does not hold my '64 Plymouth in "PARK". I was told I need an ajustment to my transmission, but it's a complicated one described in a "service bulletin" from Plymouth.

Is it really just an adjustment? Does anyone know where I can get the instructions to do this? Is it too difficult for a "driveway mechanic" or should I take it to a transmission repair place or to someone who knows Torqueflite transmissions?

Thanks for any advice!
