Re: Galen Govier - A Story you probably haven't heard

I first met Galen "way back when". We were both members of the upstart "Mopar Muscle Club",, an offshoot of NHOA. I was a director and wrote monthy columns for the monthly news letter "Muscle Hustle". He was a sincere and genuinely interested person in what he was trying to do at that time. As I recall he drove a Dodge Aspen "Kit car", with the 43 on the door,, as Dodge offered them back then. I cant imagine him doing underhanded deads from the person I knew back then. I do believe he was a Wisconsin native. California to tape a Hemi Car?? At that time there were alot of Hemi cars around,, mine included. Well,,, guess people can change,, strories can get blown out of proportion, and jealousy can make for some strange happenings. Nobodys perfect, but I know in the beginning,, accuracy was his goal. Please address private mail -- mail of interest to only one person -- directly to that person. I.e., send parts/car transactions and negotiations as well as other personal messages only to the intended recipient, not to the Clubhouse public address. This practice will protect your privacy, reduce the total volume of mail and fine tune the content signal to Mopar topic. Thanks!
