Sounds like you're talking about the Rag Joint. If its the same as '65
C-body, its still available from Chrysler, or at least was last time I
checked (they used that one again in the 70's). Cost is around $60 so list
would be a bit more. If its the same as my car, its about 1" thick and 2-3"
in diameter. It connects the column to the shaft going into the steering box
with 5/16" cap screws (use a 1/4" allen wrench and a 1/2" box end). If you
take it off, it should have a part number molded into it on the
circumference which can then be cross referenced to the latest (which starts
with a 3 instead of the original, which starts with a 2).
