Your car you can do what you'd like if you want to do the bumblebee stripes.
Here is another option:  in mid 65 a dealer option was offered with racing
stripes front to back.  Hardtops had them centered while the convertible was
off centered on the driver's side.  I believe they were offered only on the
881 yellow cars.  I've got an original Dodge brochure that explains exactly
how wide and exactly where the paint goes.  Would have to check the brochure
to see if the stripes were offered only on the 881 paint or all colors.
