Sounds like the hose that supplies the vacuum to the booster is collapsing
causing the no brake problem change the hose from the manifolds to the
booster and see if problem goes .

1962 Chrysler Saratgoga (Newport) brake pedal travel decreases to a point
where there is no travel left and brakes are being applied.
Moving the master cylinder away from the vacuum boost drum releases the
brakes.
I have adjusted the boost plunger for more travel but the condition still
persists.
Will attempt another adjustment.
What should be done, replace the booster?
Where does one find one?
