My machinst never said anything a bout  dentonation  senitivity.  I ran my 413 super hard and never had a problem.  I problably put 40 or 50 thousand miles on it before I sold it.

  Remember, adding oil or atf to the gas will increase detonation sensitivity.  
  I'm thinking adding the atf  or good ol Marvel Mystery Oil once and awhile is 
  a good thing.  Just don't get on it too much while running the 2 stroke
