Greetings all.

I have a 63 poly 318 sitting on an engine stand and am thinking that for
space reasons I will disassemble it. I can then shove the block under a
bench and store the heads, intake, crank, etc on a shelf. Plus I can then
put another engine that I have onto the engine stand. So what is the best
way to protect the block & components while they are in a disassembled
state? I am thinking that coating them with oil and then placing into heavy
gauge plastic bags is probably adequate. Any better suggestions?

Thanks, Scott.
