Scott,  I've found a product for storing firearms that is the best that I've 
come across for protecting uncoated steel.  It's called Rust Guard-It.  I 
think it's made by Hoppes.  Comes in 12 Os spray can and dries with a waxy finish 
that would have to be removed prior to reassembly.  Also, another lesson I 
learned the hard way, is not to store the stuff in a room that has large 
temperature swings like going out to the shop and turning the heat on for a few hrs.  
The metal will sweat and rust, even in a bag, which makes it worse because you 
don't see it until too late.  Just my 2 cents....Joe
