 Well, with the bumper off, the strip lays on top of the filler piece.
The long side away from the body. The 13 or 14 little holes are supposed
to have little "push in" type pins to secure it, from the top down. The
bumper overlaps the filler just enough to conceal the rubber strip. If
you are reinstalling the original one, the holes should line up.   Tom
