Speaking of insurance....
In about 4 months I'll be driving my 1962 Dart as my daily driver.
Can anyone give me advice about insuring it?
Are there special companies that provide insurance for classic cars?
Don't cringe... I live in Los Angeles. For a 62 Dart there's one mechanic in
LA and I'd only go back to the one body shop that's doing all my work.
I just want to make sure that if heaven forbid I get in an accident, I can
take my car to these two places, and whoever hits me has to pay whatever it
costs.
I've had a heck of a time finding parts for my 62, and finding a body shop
that knows anything about restorations and won't charge me an arm and a leg
has also been challenging.
It's not like I'll be able to go around getting estimates from 3 different
places, right? Yes, I know I'm a lunatic to drive a car like this around
the streets of LA. But that's why you like me, right? I've become a
mopar-obsessed girl.
Thanks for the advice,
Vicki
