I just wanted to let others know what I do for storage. I have a shipping
container that I use. (It is like a semi truck van (trailer) without the
wheels, etc.) I have one that is 20 ft long by 8 ft. wide and 8 ft. tall.
It is actually big enough to put a car in. (Just real hard to get out of
the car). I put 2 ft. deep shelves down each side with 4 ft. deep shelves
in the rear for seats, carpet and and other bulky items. I still have
enough room down the middle to park a lawn mower or two, wheel barrow,
washer/dryer, Christmas tree, etc. and still have enough room to get in and
out with a two wheel dollie . I got mine for the cost of having it moved
($75). Around here an insulated 40 ft. is around $1000 with 20 ft. being
somewhat less. You can get them as small as 10 ft. long. Most newer 10 ft.
and 20 ft. have slots so they can be picked up with a fork lift. The
shorter containers can be moved by a rollback.
The only weakness is that Neal may want to jump on top of it. : - )
