 Do you have the tapered or flanged axle rear? Do you know what the 
width is? The combination of width and backspacing is critical to get 
the biggest tire in there without moving the springs or hammering the 
wheelhouse.I'm currently swapping in a 65 rear on my 64 Savoy.

On this car,with the t/a rear,I've been able to fit 255/70's on 15x8 "K" 
steel wheels with 4 1/2" backspacing.I plan on re-taking the 
measurements after the f/a rear is installed and having another pair of 
"K" wheels widened.I believe it's possible to get an 11-1/2" tire in 
there without moving the springs.
