I had a problem finding studs with the right size splines to work in a similar application years back.
I ended using a micrometer , measuring the originals, and then buying slightly larger splined, 1/2" -20 studs.
I then put each in a pipe machine, or lathe, and using a file, reduced the splined area down to the original size.
Those studs are still in the car, and have never come loose.
Not what one would like to do, but sometimes it's all there is.

The CarQuest and Napa here on Kodiak have NO part numbers for wheel studs for my 64 Polara 500 w/8-3/4" "741" rear end. Their computers only go back to the 70's, and the books they have are just as worthless.

Can ANYONE check with their local parts (Napa, AutoZone, CarQuest, etc) and try to get a number for me? Please email me off list if you can help. I'm looking for front AND rear studs and would like them all right hand threading.

Thank you very much!
Regards,
Andy
