I chucked the tapered axles in my 64 and installed a 70 GTX housing/w 11" brakes. No problems whatsoever. Highly recommend for us guys who don't wish to deal with the older style axle setup.

Does anybody know what complete rear will swap into my 1964 Fury? I 
know a 1965 will, but will anything newer? I'm interested in a bolt-in, 
no cutting or welding, if possible.

Also, if I had to, could I keep my housing and upgrade to the newer 
axles and center section?
