If you only go in a straight line, who cares if you have power steering or 
not. My car will see the road a lot but I won't be doing any parallel parking 
with it. I changed from power to manual mostly to get rid of the unsightly look 
of that huge power unit and master cylinder. Had the shaft lengthened 3 inches 
and changed the lower end to fit the box.
