You should match the intake with the camshaft,carb, and rear gear choice. If
you plan to have a 5000-5500 motor with a mild cam the performer is great.
It makes excellent grunt off the line and into the midrange. The RPM is good
to 5500-6000 with a little sacrifice in the low to midrange.  mike

Gathering opinions- a guy here has a Edelbrock Performer RPM manifold for
sale to fit a 440. I have a 440 for my Charger project. Would this be a
good street manifold, this isnt a drag car I'm building. I checked
Edelbrocks site and they say its good to 6500rpm.
 P.S. Sorry i mentioned a Charger
