I have recently traded my BMW for a 1966 barracuda that was rolled on
the front, rear glass is still good, one front wheal is bent in, roof
buckled up, hood and front fenders are crunched. I have yet to see this
car, but it's a 3 on the tree, slant six said to still run and drive up on
a trailer. I also have a 1965 barracuda with no power train, and no
rear-end, needs rear glass, and interior redone completely. I also have a
1971 360 motor, rebuilt with a few performance parts.
"NOW", I thought maybe I would restore the 1966 barracuda and use the
1965 barracuda as my first race car with the 360 motor. What do you all
think? Are most all the body parts interchangeable, what about the
interior? What are the differences between the 65, and 66 barracudas?
My email is realdeal69dude2003@xxxxxxxxx please, I could use all the
info I can get guys and gals. I need to come up with a good solid plan
before I start.
What type of racing would be a good idea for the 1965 and the 360? What
would be a good starter. I am getting into this a little late in life, I'm
39. Better late then never I guess huh? I thought maybe just quarter mile
since I really have never been a spectator for any sports, always a
participant.
Thanks, Don L. in Mid-MO.
