I have read that 1964 and back often don't have a tag, but have the ratio stamped on the differential case, instead.  I know my 1964 Fury doesn't have a tag.  Don't know if the ratio is stamped, though--there's so much oil build-up on it, I can't tell!

      The standard ratio for the 383's in '64 was 3:23.  There should be a tag on the differential with the ratio stamped on it. The ones I have had do have that tag. My 318 '64  Polara  has a 2:73 ratio.
