I have a 1964 Fury with the Poly, and was thinking just like you.  It has great ride height, and the two motors are about 50-60 pounds different.  What puzzles me, though, is that even now with the Poly she leans like a sailboat on turns. The car has 116,000 miles (real? who knows?).  I am GUESSING that it would be a good idea to update it to brand-new, HP big block bars.  But I don't know.

    On second thought < I am not so sure that I need the Big block torsion
    bars  when I go from 318 poly to 451 cheapie. That Poly could weigh
    just as much as a 400. What do u guys think:
      guess the polys weight!
