Hey gang,
Yesterday I was dismantalling a '62 Plymouth 2-dr sedan back half I
bought in the Chicago area , and noticed the front spring hangers were tapped and
mounted in the car with bolts instead of the usual studs/nuts combination.
It appears to have been there from day one, the car is not real
rusty...appears that it was from drier climate originally. I was wondering if any other
members had a similar set-up in their car. All I have is the body #'s stamped on
the package shelf...4709181113, perhaps Bill W. can shed some light on how
early the car was built and where. Just wondering when the change was made.
Thanks, Dan Jenks
