When trying to bleed rear brakes with a dual master cylinder system and they don't want to bleed here is how it is done. 
Open the front disc brake bleeders and let them run free(put a couple of small hoses on them so they don't spray all over your fresh paint. )
Bleed the rears with someone pumping the brakes about 5 times with the bleeder closed then with them holding the pedal down, open the closet bleeder in the system till you get fluid then move to the farthest. Eventually (and it will take some time) fluid will come. Make sure to keep the rear brakes resevoir topped up in the master. (Smaller section) disregard the front , disc bake section. When you have purged all the air from the rear system . Fill the resevior for the front disc brakes . let them sit till the fluid comes out of the bleeder itself (about the duration of a cup of coffee) and close them off. Yer done!
Disc brakes, because that section of the reesevior has no residual check valve like the rear brakes do has no obstacles in its path and will gravity bleed. If you want to recheck it in the conventional manner with a partner pumping the brakes that would be fine.
