I run Hooker fenderwell headers in my 64 Dodge and my 63 Dodge. You are
correct they look awesome. No problem installing, cut the fenderwell out
in one piece and if you want you can always weld them back and grind the
weld down. It does generate a lot more heat under the hood, so a scoop
helps the air flow. I have never had a over heating problem.

When I put my '63 Fury together 5 years ago, I really wanted fendewell
headers as I think they look awsome, but at that time couldn't find any,
so I went
with conventional headers. Although I would hate to cut out my
fenders, it
might be worth it.

Anyone out there running fenderwell headers? Are they
worth the hastle of cutting the inner fenderwells? A
friend of mine runs them on his 64 Polara and I'm
considering using them on the 64 Savoy. I believe he
found his on e-bay. I saw that Doug's website listed
one but I didn't see one on TTI's, unless I missed it.
