I order custom lengths of factory stuff from Rhode Island Wiring. Stuff seemed reasonable and I bought a whole mish-mash or wires for $60. Here' thier web site: http://www.riwire.com/

Where the heck can you get good wiring from locally? The only stuff I can come up with is really cheap feeling (large diameter strands, insulation looks like it would rather peel off than stay on, low temperature ratings, etc). After I rewired the cursed Ramcharger I've been trying to find decent quality wire that I don't have to buy a 500' spool of...the wire in that $175 harness kit just felt like quality wire! It was nice to work with as well. I believe it was GXR insulation. Ideas anyone?
