 In a perfect world, YES.  But you never know how long ago the ring
shifted on your engine, and it still performed it's duty, before it was
found out.   Complete separation of the ring from the hub could be quite
surprising! One reason you have to use the SFI balancer when moving up
the speed chart, drag racing.  Tom in Dallas
