According to my 9th edition white book, the casting number for 63 max
performance blocks is 2406730, which is actually listed as for "63-65 426
Wedge & Max Perf". There's some more confusing information on the 426 wedge
number, one place he lists it as "426 1962-65 Wedge" as 1852029, which is
the same number as '62 max performance and '62-'63 truck blocks. Another
place he lists "426 Wedge" as 2440873. Then there's 2440873, a "426 Wedge"
with no year appended, and 2468030, listed as "413+426 Wedge", again no
years given. Hopefully someone has more specific info or another source.
On the other hand, if you use a nice 440 block to base this engine on, no
one but you will know unless examining the numbers.
