Hey Tom.
 
I did get the gear puller, but got the 3-arm one (for 28 bucks).  It's one that was recommended by someone who had just used it, apparently it works very well.  I haven't pulled 'em yet, concentrating on the engine, and engine compartment right now.
 
I'll let ya know when I do.

Anyone know how hard the tapered axles are to re-install?  Everyone talks about it being a massive headache to install them, I wonder how bad the reverse is?!
