Thanks for the reply. That is just what I was looking for, a good
comparison. I won't argue that ladder bars do a better job. I am in the
stage in my building process, where I am examining every thought I have
about the car, then I go back and re-think it again. I don't want to do
the four link thing. To much tuning. I will most likely do the right
thing and build ladder bars with rockers. I am afraid I am going to need
wheelie bars. My target weight is 2800 lbs with my big butt in the car,
and 700HP. Should be a low 10's car at 4500 feet.

Earl,  My buddy runs a 69 Camaro, 502ci, w/Cal Tracs and he can't match
my 60ft plus he bent one late last year.  In my estimation Ladder Bars
do a better job.  My car weights about 3500# with my big un in it and
will raise the front wheels about 18" coming out of the hole on a 10.5"
slick.  I think that is a pretty good hook don't you?-----Red
