If the poly tranny has a slide in tail shaft for drive shaft you can replace the ball and trunion tail shaft with slide in tail housing. I would recommend replacing the front pump section with a front pump from a 67-70 front pump. this will let you use a late model torque converter which is readily available. As for the converter would recommend the Dynamics torque converter from AA T transmission (Rick Allison), Camby, Indiana. This converter is loose but tightens up fast/ Good Luck on your project Norm CROSSRAM CONNECTION ----- Original Message ----- From: "C Singleton" <csingleton@xxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <1962to1965mopars@xxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Tuesday, July 20, 2004 9:44 PM Subject: engine swap questions > [AD removed for archives] > ------------------------------------------------------------------- > Stories from the Civil Rights Movement.
