Tom,

I had Gary's do the wheel for my 62 polara and it is beautiful. Cost about $500, but worth it to me.

I stopped at a booth at Carlisle.
His name was Gary of Gary's Steering Wheel Restoration.
He had some really nice looking steering wheels, including a tuff wheel.
Price was always by quote and I took a card and thought maybe I'd have him
quote me.
His info is:

wheelrest@xxxxxxx
He is in Carlisle, PA.

Yup, it's the labor that adds up on the clock paying someone to do the
steering wheel repair.

Several vendors sell a DIY kit. (POR and Eastwood I think.)

I think Dustin C. reported here of using some plumber's epoxy that
worked well. Dustin? Maybe it was the stuff Earl mentioned.

To save cash, pay yourself the labor fees and give the steering wheel
some TLC yourself. :)
