All I'm saying is, the one Hayden makes for your car is 3.61. That's not say that their fan clutch is exactly the same as what was on it originally. In fact, their listings don't show a 413 or 426, so maybe those two engines used something special for the additional clearance. Mechanically, I'm sure their replacement clutch will work just fine.

Mark,
I'm confused about the 3.61" overall height. My car came from the
factory with a 426 street wedge & now has a Max Wedge. The 413 the
previous owner installed had the same dimension between the water pump
and radiator. The radiator number is 2445637, which is correct for a
'64 - 426 - high altitude & A/C. Maybe it has an extra row of cores
that requires a shorter clutch. I know a 3.61" would be a half inch too
long to fit between the water pump and radiator...Brian

My '64 Belvedere has a clutch fan that is 2-1/2" in length. That leaves
me approx. 1/2" of clearance to the radiator. All the new replacements
I found were over 3" long. I had mine rebuilt, so I
would have one that fits. I talked to another Max Wedge owner
recently,and he's running a normal 4 blade fan, because he can't find a
2-1/2" clutch to fit his either.
