I beleive the mopar book says the holes need to be a min of 2 - 5" circles for enough air flow to do what you want, again i believe that is Minimum, so if 5" is good 6" must be better.... I believe the holes line up withthe carbs on the X-ram. In my mind the bigger the better, cut out as much as possable under the scoop, usually the triangular space between the hood braces... the new 65 coronet model i have has 2 holes that line up over the carbs.

Does anyone have the answers to the questions below? I received an
e-mail from a fellow and am trying to help him out.

Reply here, as these are good questions. :)

Thanks,
Gary H.

QUESTIONS:
"I am building a 1965 Belvedere I to A990 specs, and must cut the hood
for the x-ram manifold.
I need to know:
1. What is the diameter of the hole?
2. What is the location of the center point?"
