Thanks to the respondents to my motor mount dillemna. dont ask me how
, but I got them back in place, and my new 64 Polaras idling outside
now, warming up for a blast.
Heres what happened for those interested. I had the car on jack
stands placed under about the drivers feet. The thought went thru my
head, " I wonder if the front is hanging down from those jack
stands". I took her off the stands onto her tires, popped the motor
up a couple inches with the jack, let her down, the motor mount bolts
went right in to their homes in the k frame towers.
Dont ask me how, I guess the front end was flexing hanging from the
jack stands. Now on to the next problem, more on that later .
The guy i bought her from did some pretty wonky things!!
But for now I'm gonna take her for a spin.
