Well, the day I had feared has come.  We are forced to sell the Polara.
 
Financially, there is no other way.  It's just going to cost too much for us to finish the engine rebuild right now so it can be running before we leave Kodiak (it HAS to be running - no other option).
 
The good news is that my good friend is buying the car from me, so I know it will be in good hands.  And the better news is that we are keeping the 318 Poly and everything engine related, and taking it with us!
 
We have most of the $$$ into the engine, very little into the car itself.  I know that sooner or later (probably later) I'll get something Mopar to drop the dual-quad 318 Poly into.
 
But, for now, we've got not other choice.  I'm "sealing the deal" with Fred tonight.
 
Had to let someone know - and you guys are the only ones that would understand how I am feeling!  Sometimes life throws things at you and you've got to decide between a car and your families well-being...and to me, it's not much of a decision.
